Hey Lovely….

You know that feeling that everyone’s looking at you? Like you walk into a room and suddenly it’s all eyes on your unwashed hair, your outfit, your body, your everything?

That feeling is a liar.

It’s called the spotlight effect, and it tricks your brain into thinking you’re being judged harder than you actually are.

Reality Check: Most People Are Too Busy to judge you

They’re worried about their own sh*t. Their own body image. Their own anxiety. Their own insecurities.

They’re not zooming in on your thighs. Or analyzing your laugh. Or noticing that weird thing you think your nose does in photos.

They’re just trying to survive, just like you.

So What If They Are?

Let’s say someone is judging you. So what? Are they paying your bills? Feeding your dog? Loving you the way you deserve?

Didn’t think so.

Other people’s opinions don’t get to run your life. Your self-worth can’t be built on guessing games about what strangers might be thinking.

So take the photo. Wear the dress. Show up loudly.

They’re probably not watching. But even if they are? Let ‘em stare.

xoxo
