How old are you? 48
What do you do? I am a Construction Administrator for a local
commercial contractor.
What made you decide to take a leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I was originally going to do this for an anniversary gift for my now ex-husband. Decided I would do it for ME instead.
Did you have any fears or obstacles about boudoir?
Being I have always HATED having my picture taken, I was afraid I would not like any of the pictures. AND I was worried about my hair and makeup as I am not someone who typically lets anyone else do that.
Was your session what you expected it to be?
I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was a little nervous but that quickly disappeared.
What was your favorite part of the entire experience?
I don’t have a favorite part. I loved the entire experience.
How did you feel when you saw your photographs?
I was super excited. I couldn’t believe how good I felt looking at them. (Shoot, I still can’t stop looking at them!)
Do you have any advice for other women interested in their own boudoir experience?
If you are thinking about it – DO IT! You will NOT regret it.
Did anything change about the way you see your own body as a result?
Yes, I feel confident again!
How did you like working with The Intimate Story?
I loved working with The Intimate Story. I am SO happy I did this. It was a super fun experience from the hair, makeup, and photo session to picking album photos from the proofs. Amy made me feel so comfortable and I feel like I have a friend for life in her. I couldn’t imagine having these done if it wasn’t with The Intimate Story.
