Wooohoooo!!! I am back with a featured client friday after a seriously looooonnngg hiatus. Life got a little crazy and blogging tends to fall to end of my todo list. Procrastination much??
Any who, I love featuring my gorgeous clients not only so you can see more of their amazing images but because you can hear their feelings about boudoir and its impact in their words. I want not only their images but their VOICES out there too. This week I am featuring the gorgeous Rachel… She just rocked the heck out of her session!!!!! What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I wanted to do something to surprise my husband that he would never have dreamed I would do. I wanted to give him something to look at. I also wanted to see pictures of myself that made me look good. I don’t feel like I am as “curvy” as I am.
Did you have any fears or obstacles about boudoir ?
My fears were I wouldn’t look good in them. I would be too nervous to relax and trust them to do their thing.
Was your session what you expected it to be?
My session was amazing. I really didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know if they would be over intrusive or too passive to get me to do what she needed me to do to get the right pictures. But it was the perfect mix of both! Both Amy and Kelsey helped make sure every detail was taken care of.
What was your favorite part of the whole experience?
My favorite part was how she could “read” me. What outfits I liked and wasn’t sure about, they incorporated the things I wanted. Laughing and making the whole time fun filled with laughs and and making me feel like I was gorgeous.
How did you feel when you saw your photographs?
I couldn’t believe it…I look hot and sexy! I felt like I saw pictures that looked like I felt.
Do you have any advice for other women considering a boudoir session?
Bring options,and make sure you incorporate you and some of your favorites. For me I can’t be without earrings. Jewelry is huge to me so I brought lots! Take the time to shop and find things you like and will feel comfortable in and splurge on one awesome piece!
Did anything change about the way you see your own body as a result of your session?
It made me see myself the way I think I should be! It made me look at myself saying that looks great!
How did you like working with The Intimate Story?
I loved working with Amy and Kelsey so much! Felt way more comfortable then I could have ever imagined. They let me and joined with me in drinking wine and I am already wishing I would have done more adventurous stuff and
planning too!
